A simple but brilliant new international rule could stop rich countries dumping shiploads of plastic in our oceans and on poor communities.

We have 3 days to convince governments to vote YES -- can you donate now to flood their feeds with powerful ads?

A,

Europe and the USA flood Southeast Asia with shiploads of plastic waste every single day.

Beaches home to sea turtles and birds there are being smothered with straws, wrappers, bottles, and bags.

But in literally 3 days, 186 governments meeting in Geneva will decide on an international law to cut reckless... plastic dumping.

People power has already got us inches away from persuading representatives to pass this game-changing new rule. But plastic lobbyists are working round the clock desperately trying to change this. We’ve got ads designed to make sure governments support it -- but we just need to make sure they see them in these critical days of the global meeting.

Targeted ads can reach the right people and they work -- can you donate today to get them out the door today?

This new rule will be a tweak to an already internationally binding agreement called the Basel Convention. If we can get this one small tweak through, then every country rich or poor will finally have the power to reject shiploads of plastic from being dumped on them by unscrupulous “waste management” companies.

Countries and corporations that produce and consume most of the world’s plastic will finally have to take responsibility for their wasteful ways -- instead of dumping it on those who can least afford to deal with it.

We’re so very close to getting 186 governments on board by this Friday thanks to people power. SumOfUs members just like you have given me so much hope on this already. In mere weeks more than *115,000* of you have been signing and sharing the petition to get these rules passed. With your help, representatives will be seeing the message every time they open up their phone or laptop.

Please don’t let the plastics lobby win -- can you make a donation now to get these adverts in front of key voters?

When you pitch in, these tactics get results -- just last year, donations and online pressure from SumOfUs members like you helped convince the European Union to take decisive action against single-use plastic.

We might not have infinite cash to lobby governments like the plastic industry does. But if enough members like you pool resources together, we can reach key players and win over enough countries to stop the plastic flood.

Now we need to double our efforts to finally stop the flood of plastic pollution. Will you make a donation to stop the spread of plastic waste?

Thanks for all that you do,
