A,

Bees are under threat. An explosive new report warns we are at grave risk of losing our precious pollinators. The result? A global food crisis.

May is a crucial time for bees. They should be buzzing in our gardens and fields, pollinating the food we eat.

But multibillion dollar pesticide giants like Bayer-Monsanto are churning out one toxic pesticide after another, putting fat corporate profits before the future of our planet.

Scientists say it’s not too late. We can turn this around, but we need you with us.

With your ongoing support, we can keep challenging pesticide lobbyists, take the fight directly to corporate investors, and force our governments to pass bee-saving legislation.

And we also have a special BONUS to offer you: if you start a monthly gift today, we’ll plant a pack of bee-friendly flowers in cities around the world -- like London, Berlin, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Melbourne -- on your behalf!

New evidence shows that planting bee-friendly flowers in our gardens could help save our bees.

That’s why we’ll also plant a pack of bee-friendly seeds if you start a monthly gift today. Together, we can help bees have enough food to survive and thrive! And we need to -- because we depend on them for our survival.

We have bees to thank for one in three mouthfuls of food that we eat! They pollinate crops like apples, peas, pumpkins, tomatoes, strawberries and raspberries.

Bees are dying because of pesticides. Half of all the bumblebee species found in Oklahoma in the US in 1949 had disappeared by 2013. And the number of honeybee colonies in the US has been slashed in half.

Our world must change the way it produces food because industrial-scale, intensive agriculture is killing our ecosystems.

It’s only by fighting the pesticide industry, to protect our bees and other pollinators, that we can reverse this worrying decline.

A, can you chip in a little each month to take on the companies killing our bees?

SumOfUs members like you have been at the forefront of defending the bees from chemical giants.

Just last year you helped win huge bans on Bayer and Syngenta’s toxic pesticides in Europe and Canada. You’ve gotten bee-killing pesticides taken off shelves from Australia to the USA.

We couldn’t have done any of this without members like you: your support is critical to these victories we’ve achieved. And we need your support to keep fighting bee-killing pesticide corporations that put their profit over the health of bees and our planet.
