Dear Paov,

In 2019, we launched a bold people-powered movement for a made-in-Canada Green New Deal. In 2020, we’re taking this work to the next level.

But, Paov, none of this can happen without support from people like you. Will you make a contribution to push this work forward in 2020?

Here are just some of our plans for the new year:

  • Demanding bold climate action from our new government. Just days after the election, we got to work and called on all Members of Parliament to govern for a Green New Deal. In 2020, we’re going to put every MP’s climate commitments to the test. We’re going to mobilize tens of thousands of people in support of Green New Deal legislation. We will make sure that every MP feels the heat of our movement.
  • Creating a vision for a Green New Deal that works for absolutely everyone. We kicked off this process with hundreds of town halls earlier this year. Next year, we will continue working with our partners and supporters across the country to build a Green New Deal that ensures our communities thrive. And we’ll fight to make sure that our collective vision is... translated into real policies that are enacted across the country.
  • Taking the fossil fuel industry head on across the globe. From Brazil to France to South Africa to Australia, 350.org will continue working with communities around the world to topple the fossil fuel industry and build the just and equitable future we all deserve.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of our work. It’s amazing what we can do when we all band together. I am still in awe when I think about everything we accomplished this year. We mobilized tens of thousands of voters in support of climate action. We elected 8 Green New Deal champions. We built up 20 youth-led organizing hubs across the country. And it was just the beginning.

I can’t wait to see all that we accomplish next year.
