The UK just made a new pledge to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance — a critical international organization delivering vaccines in the world’s poorest countries. Canada could be next!
In the past 20 years Gavi has vaccinated more than 760 million children against preventable diseases, and once a COVID-19 vaccine is ready, they will be key to getting it to people around the world.
PM Trudeau and the International Development Minister, Karina Gould, are considering announcing funding imminently — our voices now could push them over the line. Let’s send them a torrent of tweets today!
