Tell Canada To Fund Vaccines and Protect Every Child

Dear Paov,

The UK just made a new pledge to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance — a critical international organization delivering vaccines in the world’s poorest countries. Canada could be next!

In the past 20 years Gavi has vaccinated more than 760 million children against preventable diseases, and once a COVID-19 vaccine is ready, they will be key to getting it to people around the world.

PM Trudeau and the International Development Minister, Karina Gould, are considering announcing funding imminently — our voices now could push them over the line. Let’s send them a torrent of tweets today!

Tweet Now

Gavi exists to ensure life-saving vaccinations reach everyone by working across the world’s poorest countries. Their work is critical to outbreak prevention, helping to ensure people remain healthy and stopping pandemics before they start.

Call on Canada to follow the UK’s lead and act to keep children healthy — tweet now.

For a world with health for all,

Ari and the Global Citizen team
