Did you know that the COVID-19 pandemic also threatens to bring on a new hunger crisis? In the last few decades, the world has seen significant progress in eliminating hunger — but the current crisis has the power to undo much of that work.
These last few months, we’ve been staying home and wearing masks to stop the spread of the virus, but there’s more you can do! We’re partnering with British, Grammy award-winning worldwide hitmakers, Clean Bandit for a 12-hour House Party Against Hunger. On August 8, you can tune in to watch sets from acts around the world, following the sun as we unite in taking action to help ensure the COVID-19 crisis doesn’t become a hunger crisis.
The show will be live on YouTube at 7am ET on August 8, but you can get started now by taking action here to call on world leaders to step up and fight hunger.
