Hi Paov,
Wearing a mask saves lives — help us spread the word to keep others safe today.
A simple piece of cloth across your mouth and nose when out in public or with friends keeps you and your community safer, and is an essential step to lifting lockdowns safely.
But due to misinformation and doubt, millions of people, including some world leaders, aren’t taking this seriously simple step to save lives.
Take the #WorldMaskWeek challenge — upload your photo to spread awareness.
That’s why Global Citizen is joining an international push this week to encourage everyone, including world leaders, to prioritise wearing masks to help end COVID-19 for all.
Paov, your action could have a huge impact on encouraging others to take up this life-saving step. Simply upload a picture in your mask with a sign saying who you’re wearing it for. Global Citizens everywhere from Canada to Nigeria are getting involved and I’ll be compiling the best photos to share with the world at the end of this week — so get creating now!
