Dear Friend,

Every day, the BCCLA is working tirelessly on a range of issues that affect you. From patients’ and prisoners’ rights, to CBSA and police accountability, and everything in between, our staff is fighting for your rights.

You might have a passion for one issue or for all of them. One thing is sure though; you’re a supporter of the BCCLA because you believe in the value of our work.

The ongoing work and the victories we share are only possible because of the commitment of our members to these issues.

Will you become a member of the BC Civil Liberties Association?

As a member, you will stand with us as we:

• Challenge unjust laws directly in the courts;

• Educate students and community members across Canada on their rights and freedoms;

• Monitor the government and private sector... for issues that threaten your civil liberties;

• Assist people who are affected by civil liberties violations, such as police and privacy complaints.

Join us in the fight to protect and expand civil liberties in Canada!

Annual memberships are just $35, $20 for seniors, and only $10 for students and low-income supporters. Or become a Sustaining Member and integrate your membership as part of a monthly donation.

Members of the BCCLA will receive our newsletter, annual report, regular updates on our cases and outreach activities, invitations to special events, and information on how you can get even more involved with our work.

Most importantly, you’ll be part of a growing network of people committed to protecting civil liberties and human rights in Canada for all.
