Something exciting is happening on Tuesday

This is a test r1

Hi Friend,

If you’re anything like us, you care about lots of different issues, and are sometimes overwhelmed by the number of injustices in the world.

More than once, we’ve found ourselves wishing someone would just tell us about something we could do. A tangible action that would make a difference.

We’re writing to tell you about an action today. It’s something that will support hundreds of high school students to learn more about the issues you and I care about.

We hear all the time that youth are the future of change. That’s a lot to put on young shoulders. They should have the resources available to them so they’re equipped to create that change.

Every year, the BCCLA brings together over 100 high school students to tackle issues ranging from anti-oppression to their rights as young workers.

For 16 years, we’ve worked with educators and youth experts to provide students with the tools necessary to take action. They’re given resources to... push for structural change in their communities.

We’re doing our conference virtually in February 2021, and we need $5000 to make it happen.

This is where you come in. With your support, we can raise the money we need to bring our Youth Conference to life.

On Tuesday, December 1, the BCCLA will be participating in Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a worldwide giving initiative that takes place after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

One of our donors, Andrew Beckerman, is offering a matching challenge!

Make a gift on Giving Tuesday and it will be matched one-for-one up to a maximum of $2,500. The match will only be available for 48 hours, so you’ll have to act fast!

We’ll write to you again on Monday to remind you about Giving Tuesday. Keep an eye on your inbox!

Be in touch soon,
