The police brutality and assault on Kanahus is a violation of International Indigenous Human Rights. Kanahus is a land defender with Tiny House Warriors and has been actively exercising and asserting Secwepemc rights and title to Unceded Secwepemc Territory to stop the Trans Mountain pipelines and has been the target of RCMP police surveillance, harassment and attacks because of this.

Kanahus has secured legal representation and the lawsuit process has begun. Another retainer of $6,500 is needed. Any contribution you are able to give is greatly appreciated. Please see the fundraiser here.
