Were so close

My friend, we’re down to the wire. We have less than 24 hours left in 2020 and we’re still $10,996 short of our fundraising target for the year.

Can you donate before midnight tonight and help us close the gap? If everyone reading this gave just $10 we’d hit our goal – and then some. We can’t afford to fall short.

Will you help close the gap so we can start 2021 strong

Despite the challenges we faced in 2020, the Stand.earth community scored impressive victories that genuinely made the world a better place for all of us and the creatures we share it with:

  1. We stopped the Teck Mine that would have been the biggest tar sands oil operation in the world.
  2. We exposed how major banks are financing oil trade from the biodiverse Amazon Sacred Headwaters, pressuring many of them to stop and sparking serious international pressure against the remaining bad actors.
  3. We... blocked a massive oil refinery expansion and dredging project (backed by Trump and Big Oil) that would have turned the San Francisco Bay Area into a major hub for oil supertankers and tar sands.

These are big victories that were only possible because of people like you my friend. Thank you. They gave us hope in a tough year, and they give us something to build on.

Our team has developed ambitious plans for 2021, building on the successes from 2020, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Thanks to the 1,735 of you who chipped in, we’re so close to hitting our goal, but we need just a few more people to chip in before midnight to close the gap.

If you're able (and only if you're able), can you give a gift before the year ends?

Because of people like you, we were able to win major victories during the worst year in recent memory. Our team is fewer than 50 people, but this community is nearly 500,000 people strong (and growing!). Together, we're using our collective power to fight climate change, protect wild spaces, stand with impacted communities, and say no to new fossil fuels.

Thank you for standing with us through 2020, and into 2021 and beyond.

With hope and resolve,

Tzeporah Berman
