Your big chance to get rid of Roundup

Home Depot’s annual shareholder meeting is on Thursday.

This is your opportunity to help make sure the Home Depot CEO publicly addresses our demands to stop selling Roundup.

Home Depot execs and bigwig shareholders are meeting in just two days to make big decisions about the company’s priorities for the next year. And it is up to us to make sure that ending the sale of cancer-linked Roundup is on the agenda.

If they hear from enough people today urging them to stop selling Roundup, they’ll be forced to make a statement during the meeting on Thursday.

Send a tweet to demand that the largest hardware store chain in the world stops selling Roundup.

Not on Twitter? Send an email directly to Home Depot executives.

Tomorrow we are parking a video billboard outside Home Depot CEO Craig Menear’s mansion in Atlanta, GA. The video features interviews with Home Depot customers demanding that the... hardware store chain remove cancer-linked Roundup and other products containing glyphosate from its shelves.

And last week, we asked nearly 1,000 Home Depot shareholders to submit a question about Roundup to be answered by CEO Craig Menear during the shareholder meeting.

The tweet and email you send today will make it impossible for Craig Menear to ignore the fact that customers and shareholders want Home Depot to stop selling this cancer-linked weedkiller.

Tweet the video featuring customer interviews about Roundup now.

Send an email to Home Depot executives asking the same question that the shareholders submitted.

Home Depot committed to stop selling bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides after SumOfUs members like you applied massive public pressure. But the company has yet to answer any of our requests to discuss glyphosate.

That is why taking action this week to force the CEO to talk about it at the shareholder meeting is so important. It would be a huge victory in the fight to get rid of Roundup once and for all.

Thanks for all that you do,
Lacey and the team at SumOfUs

P.S. The Lowe’s shareholder meeting is on May 28th, so keep an eye on your inbox for ways you can help put the pressure on them, too.
