RSVP for a conversation with Larry Krasner on criminal justice reform

Join a live discussion with reporter Akela Lacy on the accomplishments — and challenges — of the progressive prosecutor’s first four years in office.

As Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner approaches reelection, the progressive movement that brought him to power four years ago is asking: What else can he do to reform the criminal justice system from within?

A former civil rights attorney who sued the police over 75 times, Krasner began serving in January 2018 with an ambitious mandate to fix some of the long-lasting inequities plaguing the city’s justice system.

As he seeks a second term, Krasner continues to face significant opposition from law enforcement groups as well as new questions from the people of Philadelphia. How will Krasner respond to concerns about the recent spike in gun violence and homicides in the city?

This Thursday, Krasner will join The... Intercept’s Akela Lacy for a live virtual conversation focused on the future of criminal justice reform and the accomplishments — and challenges — of his first four years in office.

Will you join us for this virtual live event on Thursday, November 4 at 3 p.m. ET?
