Dear Friend,

The BCCLA has done years of advocacy and litigation work, seeking meaningful change and advancing civil liberties.

This month, we took an important step forward in our fight to end solitary confinement in prisons. We filed a lawsuit to stop the wardens at federal prisons from unlawfully placing people in long-term solitary confinement.

Tomorrow, November 30th, is Giving Tuesday, and we are hoping to raise $5,000 to go towards this important case. Would you give today or tomorrow?

One of our donors, Andrew Beckerman, is offering a matching challenge!

Make a gift on Giving Tuesday and it will be matched one-for-one up to a maximum of $2,500. The match will only be available for 48 hours, so you’ll have to act fast!

Make a donation for Giving Tuesday.

People in prison, their family members and their communities have been calling for change. They've conducted advocacy campaigns, organized protests, and... brought much-needed attention to this issue. We’re joining the call by bringing this lawsuit against the government.

We can play a part in fighting for change.

Sincerely,

Greta Shuting Lin (she/her)
