Dear Friend,

We are 3 hours into our Giving Tuesday campaign, and many of you stepped up and contributed $1,500 towards our upcoming lawsuit to end prolonged solitary confinement.

We just need another 20 of supporter to join us at $50 each. Would you make a donation to help us make our $5,000 goal?

Your donation today will be matched for up to $2,500 by our donor Andrew Beckerman. Donate today!

Solitary confinement and prison conditions don’t happen in a vacuum. They are informed by intersecting civil liberties and human rights issues such as colonialism, systemic racism, criminalization, borders, classism, ableism and more.

Peoples’ rights are being violated, with devastating consequences for their physical and mental wellbeing. Solitary confinement is debilitating, dehumanizing and must stop now.

That is why, for the 3rd time, we are... bringing solitary confinement to court.

People in prison, their family members and their communities have been calling for change. They've conducted advocacy campaigns, organized protests, and brought much-needed attention to this issue. We’re joining the call by bringing this lawsuit against the government.

We can play a part in fighting for change. Donate today to have your gift matched.

Thank you,

Sambriddhi Nepal (she/her)

Director of Engagement and Development
