The SOVI Unconference

We would love to see you next week at the 2022 SOVI Unconference! Join us for a strategic discussion on key sector issues.The SOVI Unconference is a chance for nonprofit and/or international development practitioners on South Vancouver Island to gather and share knowledge. Topics may include decolonization in nonprofits, pandemic-related innovation, tokenism, and the ethics of development work.
The event will be kickstarted by our Featured Speaker, Samantha McGavin! Samantha is Executive Director of Inter Pares, a global cooperation organization focused on empowering folks to be at the centre of their own development. Later, participants will be able to move in and out of themed breakout rooms, as if you're bouncing from room-to-room at a physical conference.
