Our Ukrainian community is grateful for the opportunity presented... to Ukrainians who are fleeing the war and can come to Canada under the CUAET Program. However, the families that will be arriving in Ontario from a war-torn country will not have access to medical services. We are urging you to follow the example of the province of Quebec and allow access to OHIP for Ukrainians arriving under the CUAET Program. Canada and other NATO countries refuse to close the sky over Ukraine, letting bombs fall on the houses of thousands of civilians. Due to political reasons the world cannot protect Ukrainians and their homeland. You have the chance to protect those who arrive here and give them access to the most basic human need - medical care! Please, stand with Ukraine! Help Ukrainians fleeing the unjust brutal war get access to medical services in Ontario! Thank you!
