Connect with leaders from our movement on September 1 and 2. r1

Hi Paov,

I'd like to invite you to connect with leaders from our movement at our Climate Justice Conversations next week, on September 1 and 2.

These will be online conversations where we'll hear from different leaders of the movement, share stories, and work together to understand where we are now, and where we need to go next.

The work to stop the climate crisis is rapidly changing, and it’s time for us to reflect and regroup so we can continue the fight for the long haul.

Here are the sessions you can join:

  • Sustaining Activism in the Long Run - Working in the climate justice space can be draining and exhausting. How can we take better care of ourselves and others? Hear from Caroline Hickman, Brianna Fruean, Stuart Feather, with Rebecca Solnit and Rhetta Morgan.
  • State of the Movement - The political landscape is rapidly changing, how do we navigate climate justice... in an ever changing space? Join Bill McKibben, Mitzi Jonelle Tan, Constance Okollet, and Yeb Sano, Svitlana Romanko with stories from Shemona Moreno (350 Seattle) to discuss how we go forward.
  • Repairing and Resisting: organizing after climate impact - As climate crises intensify, what are communities most impacted by climate change doing? Hear from Akyaka Disaster Volunteers from Turkey and other impacted communities on their experiences. I'll also be at this session to talk about how 350 Canada has been organizing in response to wildfires and extreme heat.

We are thrilled to have speakers from all over the world to share their lived experiences in the climate movement. And we’ll be thrilled if you join us too.

See the full list of speakers and RSVP here.

See you there,
Jennifer
