Dear Friend,
For 17 years, the BCCLA has hosted our annual Youth Conference, bringing together over 2000 high school students to talk about important issues such as workers' rights, free expression, and Indigenous law.
We are very excited to announce that, for the first time since 2019, the BCCLA is hosting our Youth Conference in person in 2023!
Tomorrow, November 29th, is Giving Tuesday. We want to raise $5,000 tomorrow so we can cover essential logistic costs such as venue booking, speaker honorariums and any accommodations to students' accessibility needs.
Will you make a donation today or tomorrow so we can bring our next Youth Conference to life?
I will support the next generation of advocates todayAs a society, we have watched the next generation... stand up for what they believe in. In recent years, we have seen youth lead climate justice movements, advocate for the most marginalized in our society, and stand in front of policymakers to ensure the voices of tomorrow are heard.
That is why as an organization, we are passionate about working with and representing the concerns of our future generations. Your donation today and tomorrow means our work will have impacts for years to come.
I will support the next generation of advocates todayHelp us equip our next generation of advocates - make a donation today or tomorrow on Giving Tuesday.
Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,
Karen Mirsky (she/her)
President
