Last email was from both Ravi and me, but this one is just from yours truly. The truth is, Ravi and I are watching this challenge closely. We’ve set the goal of raising $13,000 by Christmas Eve.
I know Ravi believes in the strength of our grassroots donor base. He’s spoken with you and knows you value an independent, non-partisan voice for people, planet, and democracy.
But he’s seen how challenging it has been for our supporters financially, with inflation and rising costs— warning of a slowing economy, and people having difficulty keeping up.
I agree.
But I also know Council of Canadians supporters know what’s at stake—we know these are reasons we have to pull together and rise to the occasion to build a fairer society through political action.
Ravi is worried that we won’t meet this critical fundraising goal. Let’s prove him wrong. I know we can.
Our records show that we can beat this goal. And you show us that we can always count on you.
