CoDev and BCTF together with teachers in Cuba

This past January, Alexandra Henao-Castrillon, along with a vibrant delegation of B.C. teachers, travelled to Cuba to meet with the Cuban teachers’ union (SNTECD), the BCTF’s international solidarity partner of 26 years.

Together, the teachers made progress on their collaborative language learning project and participated in the 18th International Pedagogy Congress. CoDev and the BCTF also brought over much urgently needed health care supplies, electronic equipment, and other educational materials.

While in Cuba, Alexandra sent a digital postcard to all CoDev members updating them on the delegation and conveying solidarity from Cuba. Stay tuned, CoDev members, for more postcards to come!
