As we celebrate Earth Day with this year's
theme of Invest in Our Planet, it's a great opportunity for us to take
action and make a positive impact on the environment. One way you can
support our efforts to promote renewable energy and sustainability is
by donating
to our cause.
In celebration of Earth Day, we are thrilled to announce that for every dollar donated to Iron & Earth, your donation will be leveraged by a matching contribution of $9! This is an incredible opportunity to maximize the impact of your donation and amplify the voices of those persons who are experiencing the effects of climate change.
GIVE TODAYOur partnership with the remote communities of Hopedale and Rigolet in Nunatsiavut, NL, on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Inuit of Nunatsiavut, is a great example of how your support can make a difference. These communities were heavily reliant on diesel generators, which not only caused environmental damage but also came with high costs.
To address the issue, the local government invited us to lead Renewable Skills training programs, where five youth trainees learned to install solar energy systems on two community centres. The 16 kW installations have already made a significant difference, with noticeable cost-savings in the community's utilities bill! Together, we took action and created opportunities for future generations to thrive in the net-zero economy.
