Nothing beats a story about average citizens winning against a multi-million dollar corporation! All eyes were on Kitimat last weekend as residents faced off against Enbridge in a vote on the proposed pipeline. The end result: No!

A Little Late but Still on Track

The next big conservation step for the Great Bear Rainforest is delayed but still expected by the end of the year, explains Sierra Club BC’s forest and climate campaigner Jens Wieting. However, in light of TimberWest’s short-sighted logging plans, the pressure is on to finalize stricter logging rules for this important area.
