Thanks for looking to our team for your news on Canada's resource economy and environment. We're proud to provide deep analysis and break stories on some of the most pressing issues facing our country.

Today we need your help.

One of the biggest stories we’ve been following is BC’s trillion-dollar proposed liquified natural gas (LNG) industry. The big idea is to cool this gas into liquid, so it can be shipped to higher-price markets in Asia.

Is it really “clean”, what about the controversial fracking process that would supply the feedstock for the industry? Where do First Nations stand? Most importantly, what sort of alternatives could BC turn to for jobs and provincial revenues instead of LNG?
