You make this work possible

With your help, we’re building a fair, healthy food system for all. Your gift today will help us keep winning!
Dear Paov,
It’s been quite a year. From kids to bees to genetically engineered (GE) crops, the harms of pesticides are part of the public conversation in a way they’ve never been before — and there are powerful policy changes in the works for safe, fair food and farming.
You make this work possible » I am continually in awe of the passion and persistence I see in the PAN community. Thank you for being part of our work and making change happen! We couldn’t do this without you and your continued activism, support and commitment to a thriving, resilient food system.
Will you help sustain this work in the new year by giving a gift today?
I’m so proud of PAN’s work in 2014. With our help:
- Communities across the country are saying no to GE crops and the pesticides that go with them.
- Federal rules protecting farmworkers from pesticides in the fields are moving forward — finally.
- An inter-agency Pollinator Health Task Force, established by the White House, is now taking a serious look at bee die-offs — and bee-harming pesticides are being targeted in cities and states across the country.
- Minnesota communities facing pesticide drift from potato fields launched a campaign to convince McDonald’s to source safer spuds.
In the coming year, we’ll keep up the pressure on the pollinator task force to be sure bees get the protections they so clearly need. We’ll work with concerned farmers to ramp up the fight against new GE crops that spike herbicide use. And we’ll continue to build momentum to put child-protective pesticide policies in place across the country.
We are powerful, together » With strong science, organized communities and people like you supporting a fair and healthy food system, we’re gaining ground. And your gift to PAN today will help keep this important work moving forward.
Thank you for being part of the powerful PAN community!
Warmly,
Judy Hatcher, Executive Director
Pesticide Action Network
P.S. Our Board of Directors has offered to match the first donations, up to $6,000, through the end of the year. Your gift today can have twice the impact!
