Your support makes a difference

Thank You!

Dear Paov,

As we launch into the new year, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Your support means everything to us, and together, we’re creating a powerful, energized movement that’s making real change happen.

Our online community is one of the most engaged out there. Your generosity made this year-end fundraising period one of our best yet. Throughout the year, tens of thousands of you stepped up every month to sign petitions, send letters and engage your political leaders.

It makes a difference. From Washington, DC to state legislatures, city councils and kitchen tables across the country, the public conversation about healthy food and farming is changing. Policies are gaining ground that protect communities, farmworkers, children and bees from harmful pesticides.

Here are just a few of the exciting new developments on the horizon for 2015:

  • The Minnesota-based Toxic Taters Coalition will continue to challenge McDonald’s to buy potatoes grown without pesticides that harm nearby communities — and will be making this a national campaign.
  • Our scientists will be updating our A Generation in Jeopardy report with the latest research on how pesticides are harming children’s health.
  • And we’ll be working with farmers’ groups in Iowa to tackle pesticide drift in new and exciting ways.

All of which feeds our larger goal of building a healthy, thriving food system. We look forward to working with you through it all! Thank you so much for being part of the PAN community.

Onward!
