A brave group of SumOfUs members are taking on Monsanto by filing a shareholder resolution demanding change.
But they can’t stand up to a corporate Goliath like Monsanto alone. Will you chip in CA$25 to help force Monsanto to reform its unethical business practices?

In just two weeks, a brave group of SumOfUs members will file an official shareholder resolution at Monsanto's annual meeting demanding the company change the way it does business.
And we’ve just found out that Monsanto is trying to shut down support for the resolution before the meeting even starts.
The company just sent a letter full of misinformation to every shareholder urging them to oppose our resolution.
Monsanto wouldn't be doing this if it wasn’t worried about our resolution. We have them on the run--but now we need to respond.
If we can raise $50,000 this week, we’ll be able to back up these SumOfUs members with experts on Monsanto’s corporate bylaws and help bring farmers affected by Monsanto’s practices to the meeting as well.

Monsanto assumes that most of its victims--especially poor famers in the developing world--will never be able to confront it. But together, we can finally hold it accountable.
Your donations will allow us to cover travel costs for some of those farmers to be able to attend the annual meeting and stand up to Monsanto directly.
And to make sure the media takes notice, we're organizing a protest outside the meeting, where we’ll present Monsanto with a prize for being the "most evil corporation in the world."
We know Monsanto won’t listen to the public--but they have to listen to their shareholders. And because of this brave group of SumOfUs members and Monsanto shareholders, we have an opportunity to finally force change at Monsanto.
