Here’s how I can tell:
The fossil fuel industry just launched a coordinated counter-campaign attempting to smear the fossil fuel divestment movement. But their efforts are falling flat (which is no surprise, since their PR-firm-run "campaign" is working with some pretty tired material):
This is what the fossil fuel industry is saying about you: that you're a bunch of dangerous, "anti-energy" radicals who want to deprive people of electricity, technology, and even food.
But we know that’s ridiculous. We know that this movement is pushing for a just, sustainable future for all of us -- one where energy is something that helps communities instead of hurting them, and where you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have... a voice.
