Join CoDev, Amnesty International, Village Vancouver and Langara College March 19 - 22, 2015 for the Just Film Festival: BC's largest social justice film festival featuring more than 30 social justice and environmental documentaries.
Thursday, March 19 gala at the Rio Theatre - 7:00 pm
Join us early for mingling and entertainment from the Solidarity Notes Labour Choir. Doors at 6:00 pm.

The film gives voice to the local communities along the Athabasca and Slave Rivers, the essential voices that have not been heard in the debate over Canada's largest and most controversial development: the Alberta tar sands. One River, Many Relations, created by the University of Manitoba's Environmental Conservation Lab, is the first documentary to come out of the region that does not involve politicians, scientists or celebrities in delivering its message; instead allowing the indigenous people whose territories lie downstream of the tar sands the opportunity to be heard.
The Just Film Festival is proud to host the Canadian premiere of this important film!
Friday, March 20 feature film and reception at Langara - 7:00 pm
The festival moves to Langara on Friday, March 20th with the BC premiere of Resistencia!
