Nestlé sucking Canada Dry

SumOfUs r1 ...

Paov,

In just a few weeks, over 100,000 of us have signed a petition to the BC government demanding that it stop letting companies like Nestlé buy our precious groundwater for just $2.25 per million litres.

Our campaign to protect our groundwater is making waves with dozens of press mentions including the front page of The Province, one of BC's biggest newspapers. Political parties are debating the policy because of this incredible pressure. We’re planning a major petition delivery and need to get as many signatures before we deliver it to the B.C. government.

Here's what you can do to spread the word further:

Thanks for all that you do,

British Columbia will finally start charging companies like Nestlé for taking its groundwater and bottling it to sell at a profit. The problem is it will only be charging $2.25 per million litres.

At a time when water is in short supply globally, it is outrageous that Nestlé can draw limitless amounts of Canada's natural resources to sell for a huge profit.
