New stand-up comedy video - What's the definition of "terrorism"?

Last week we shared our plan to diffuse the Conservatives’ racist fear-mongering about terrorism and focus attention on their economic failures. A few days later CBC’s The National devoted an entire 11-minute panel to discussing this exact strategic challenge. Watch The National's Terrorism vs. Economy panel.

In the last week supporters like you across the country have pitched in as little as $10 and brought us 25% of the way to our goal for making this plan happen in time for the election. Together we can pull the rug out from under the Conservative election strategy.

This week we released a new stand-up comedy video exposing the racist double standard behind the government’s definition of terrorism. Online magazine Ricochet posted the clip saying, “It’s important to get angry, it’s how we effect change, but it’s also important to keep our sense of humour.”1 This combination of fury and funny is what the SHD community does best.
