Help my brother-in-law

PAOV – There's a new petition taking off on Change.org, and we think you might be interested in signing it.

Dave MacDonald is my brother-in-law and my friend. He’s a great guy. He loves his family and his friends. Dave needs our help. He’d help you.

Dave has advanced prostate cancer. In May he asked AstraZeneca to supply a new cancer drug called olaparib that can help him live longer.

Last week AstraZeneca said No.

AstraZeneca-Just Say Yes! You must reconsider.

Help Dave by signing this Petition. Our system favors the noisy.

My Friend Dave
He's 61, married and has three children including two young kids.
He has metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
He's BRCA2 positive.
Dave & oncologist Dr Kim Chi believe olaparib is his best option.
Helping Dave is an act of kindness, you'll feel good.

Compassionate Use
Many are surprised to learn about compassionate use programs.
They provide access to experimental but potentially life-saving treatments that have not been approved.
In Canada it's the SAP. In the US it's EA. In the UK it's EAMS.
But these programs don't require a company to supply a drug.
Compassionate use programs are a good thing.
Some day your life might depend on one.
Helping Dave is good for compassionate use, good for you.

AstraZeneca-Just Say Yes!

We've petitioned Pascal Soriot CEO of AstraZeneca PLC, as we believe all of AZ's decisions concerning compassionate use are made in London as a matter of corporate policy.
