... Don't let Monsanto sneak this bill through
Monsanto doesn’t have the right to dictate what’s in our food or how it’s grown. Tell your Rep to oppose this bill.

Dear Paov,
Remember the Monsanto-backed bill to squash GMO labeling? Well, it’s on the move again — and it’s worse than ever.
Dubbed the “Deny Americans the Right to Know” or DARK Act by its critics, this bill would block GE food labeling laws across the country. The latest version would also prohibit local governments from restricting genetically engineered (GE) crops in any way — even when those laws are already on the books.
Speak up today! » We hear the DARK Act is headed for a vote in the House tomorrow or Friday. Contact your Representative today and urge them to defeat this bill. An email message only takes a second, and a call to your Rep's office would be even more impactful!
For too long, the “Big 6” pesticide/GE corporations have enjoyed unfettered access to agricultural markets across the country. This free rein is now being challenged with new rules impacting sales of their products in cities and states across the country.
More than 90% of Americans support labeling GE food and our right to know. And communities in California, Washington and Hawai’i, among others, have already voted to keep GE seeds — and the hazardous pesticides that usually accompany them — out of local fields and farms.
With the DARK Act, the corporations are pulling out all the stops to shut down the momentum building for real change across the country.
Time for a change » As new health concerns related to the pesticides commonly used with GE crops come to light, more communities are taking action. It's clearly time for federal lawmakers to listen. Contact your Representative today!
Tell Congress to step in and protect our right to know — and the rights of communities to push back against Monsanto’s control of food and farming.
Thanks for speaking up on this important issue!
