I knew many girls growing up. In fact, my mother was a girl once and she valued the importance of an education. I believe that giving girls equal access to education worldwide is not only the right thing to do, but saying so might make me her favorite son.
Right now, 58 million girls of primary school age are denied an education, and 62 million adolescents are without access to a secondary school.
The good news is that primary school enrollment around the world is higher than it’s ever been, but we still haven’t secured education for all.
Send a tweet to Erna Solberg, the... Prime Minister of Norway, a leader of education worldwide, to secure a financial pledge to education for all.

The Global Partnership for Education needs the cash to disburse at least $15 billion USD per year by the year 2020. We have a long way to go to achieve this goal!
Join me and thousands of global citizens to tweet at Norway to support the Global Partnership for Education and mobilize the world’s richest countries to make a commitment for education.

Thanks for doing what you do-
