The tragic drowning of 3 year-old Alan Kurdi has grabbed the attention of the world. Alan’s family was fleeing the violence in Syria, hoping to reach family in Canada. They boarded an overcrowded raft and were given fake life jackets. The boat capsized minutes from departure and a child lost his life. This is a tragedy that has played out again and again.
Over 4 million Syrians have fled the war in Syria. People around the world have opened their hearts and called for their governments to do more to help the Syrian people.r0 from these emails.
