A really big win!

r1 ... PAN PAN With your help, we’ll keep the pressure on for more victories.

Dear Paov,

Just before the holiday break, we received some great news: EPA is pulling Dow’s latest herbicide cocktail off the shelf. This is huge!

“Enlist Duo” is a mixture of 2,4-D and glyphosate that was designed for use with a new line of genetically engineered (GE) seeds. Thanks to legal pressure from PAN and our partners, EPA has put on the brakes — and is now taking a closer look at the toxicity of this herbicide combo.

You helped make this win happen! With your support, we’re able to keep a close eye on Dow and the other Big 6 pesticide/biotech corporations — and press EPA to follow the science. We really couldn’t do it without you — help us keep the wins coming with a donation of $10 or more!

Before EPA approved Enlist Duo last year, hundreds of thousands of people like you spoke out against it — and Dow’s accompanying new GE seed line.

Why so much outcry? The track record shows that GE crops drive a dramatic increase in the use of herbicides — in this case a dangerous glyphosate/2,4-D combo — leading to even more superweeds, more harmful pesticides drifting on rural communities, and more crop damage for farmers with neighboring fields.

The agency didn’t listen before, but our lawsuit is ensuring that it’s listening now as new concerns emerge about the increased toxicity of glyphosate and 2,4-D mixed together.

Make sure EPA keeps listening. Your donation of $10 or more today will help support our ongoing work to protect farmers, farmworkers and rural communities from harmful pesticides. Working together, we’re clearly having an impact.

With many thanks for all that you do.
