This was Session I of the "Dissenting Traditions" conference to Address the Intellectual and Political Interests of Canada Research Chair, Bryan D. Palmer at Trent University, 23-24 October 2015.

From the 1970s to the present Bryan Palmer has published extensively in the fields of labour and social history, exploring a wide array of subjects associated with class formation and class struggle, marginality, protest, historiagraphy and Marxist theory, and the revolutionary left.

Introduction by Bryan Palmer. Moderated by Al Seager. Presentations by:
