Learn more about the bioremediation process and how it can help protect and restore the Shawnigan Lake watershed from toxicity relating to a controversial contaminated soil facility at its headwaters.
Carolyn Dowell will present her research on how bioremediation works and how it can be applied in the Shawnigan context.
Cowichan Valley regional district director Sonia Furstenau will also provide an update on legal and advocacy issues relating to the Shawnigan Watershed movement.
