The 2016 Liberty Awards Gala is happening on Thursday, May 26 2016 and early-bird tickets are now on sale!

Until April 15th, tickets are on sale for $150 each. After April 15th they will go up to $175 for full price tickets.
The Liberty Awards Gala is now happening just once every two years so don't miss out!
The Liberty Awards Gala honours exceptional contributions to human rights and civil liberties in Canada, and is the most important fundraising event in the BCCLA’s calendar. Your support makes possible our critical work to protect human rights and civil liberties.

What to expect
This year’s Liberty Awards Gala will be held at the Roundhouse Community Arts Centre, a beautiful historic Vancouver venue!
Guests can expect a cocktail hour on the patio, delicious three course meal, short inspiring program celebrating the 2016 Liberty Award winners, and dancing with Vancouver’s premier funk band, Queer as Funk!

- 8:30pm Performance by Queer as Funk!
Not a dancer? Don't be dissuaded! This program is heavy on inspiration and celebration for BCCLA supporters of all ages. We guarantee you'll enjoy these funky sounds while chatting with some of Canada's most extraordinary human rights and civil liberties champions.
The Liberty Awards Gala has been so lucky to be supported by amazing speakers like Dr. David Suzuki, Dr. Cindy Blackstock, artists Franke James, Shane Koyczan, Susan Musgraves, and more. At our last gala whistleblower Edward Snowden made a very special video appearance... What have we got in store for you this time? You'll have to be there to find out!
