Nadia MuradPAOV,
Just named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People, Nadia Murad – a brave Yazidi woman who escaped ISIS slavery – is now leading a fight against ISIS and needs your help.
Click here to add your name to Nadia's petition, calling on the world to put an end to ISIS's genocide and sex slavery against her people in Iraq.
On 3rd August 2014, the so-called Islamic State waged an attack on the Yazidi people in Sinjar, Iraq, killing more than 3,000 civilians and enslaving 5,000-7,000 more, mostly women and children.Current estimates suggest 3,200 Yazidis remain in ISIS captivity, including Yazidi women who are being used for sexual slavery.
Nadia and the Yazidi community are requesting that the International Criminal Court take on this case. Join Nadia and thousands of global citizens in putting an end to ISIS Genocide.
Nadia is meeting with senior Iraqi Officials in June - so we’ve got a a few more weeks to show that the world is paying attention.Adding your name will put pressure on leaders to accept the jurisdiction of the ICC, so that ISIS will be held accountable.
Thanks for all that you do -
Dominic and the Global Citizen Team
