Become one here and choose from our rewards like the Best of rabble 15th anniversary edition, Michael Moore's Where to Invade Next, or The Illegal by award-winning author Lawrence Hill. Donate before the end of Canada Day weekend and you could win an autographed collection of three Lawrence Hill books!

Get the details and reactions to this remarkable ruling in Sophia Reuss's report.

Marijuana legalization task force unite!

Today Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould and Health Minister Jane Philpott announced the creation of a task force that will help advise the government on moving forward with marijuana legalization in Canada -- a Trudeau 2015 election promise.

The federal legislation is said to be introduced in spring 2017.

Tell us your immediate reaction to the marijuana legalization announcement.

Choices Oh man. Based on previous legislation, I'm pretty sure the Liberals are going to bungle this file too. PPPPPPAAAAARRRRRRTTTTTAAAAAAYYYYYY! It's about damn time! Good move, government. K so, what about all the people in jail right now for selling/possessing marijuana? No seriously. We need to think about the just way to do this. Hmm, no. I don't like this. None of the above.
