Stand with rural communities who are #NotLovinDrift Dear Paov,
McDonald’s is still sourcing potatoes grown with health-harming pesticides — and folks living in potato growing country are taking a stand.
During the week of October 2, join rural and Indigenous communities in northern Minnesota for a National Week of Action. Together we’re sending a clear message to McDonald’s: It’s time to deal with your potato pesticide problem.
Join the action! Sign the pledge to participate in the action with the Toxic Taters Coalition and we’ll share a simple toolkit with you. Whether you engage online or in your community, there are many ways to plug in.
McDonald's buys over 3.4 billion lbs. of potatoes every year. It can and should require that its growers use safe, sustainable practices to produce potatoes — methods that don't put rural communities in harm's way.
The health and environmental harms caused by pesticides drifting from potato fields has been an urgent problem for Minnesota’s communities for a long time.
Help us make this an urgent issue for McDonald’s too.
From organizing an event at your local McDonald’s, to spreading the word through social media, you can help drive the point home by joining the National Week of Action. The Toxic Taters toolkit will make your participation easy every step of the way.
Thank you for speaking up and letting McDonald’s know that we’re #NotLovinDrift.
