Hi again!
Wow, we were blown away by the response to our appeal last week — 55 of you have already stepped up to help cover the cost of sending a photographer to the Peace River Valley. Thank you!
We’re so close to reaching our target. If just 20 of you donate today, we’ll make it! Can you give $25 today?
As summer turns to fall, this could be the last opportunity to photograph the Peace River Valley in northeastern B.C. before it’s destroyed by construction on the Site C dam.
We’ve taken a leap of faith and sent a National Geographic-calibre photographer into the field — but we need to raise $2,500 by Wednesday to help cover the cost of getting him up there for a week.
Can you make a donation today to ensure these photos are seen across Canada and around the world?
When we started reporting on the Site C dam two years ago, only four in 10 British Columbians had ever heard of the project. Now Site C is getting national and international attention. The tide is turning.
We believe that just because a place is out of sight, that doesn’t mean it should be out of mind.
If you agree, please give what you can now.
Thanks for all you do,
Emma Gilchrist
Executive Director
