The Fight for $15 movement that has swept across North America is the response to an economic and political system that has produced decades of growing inequality, stagnant wages, and bad jobs. In Ontario, the Fight for $15 & Fairness represents a chance to build a broad working class movement by uniting union and non-unionized workers, rebuilding workers' power by reaching in to workplaces and raising expectations.
This organizer's handbook was compiled by activists involved in the Fight for $15 & Fairness, through interviews, their own experiences, and collective analysis, to help other organizers build this movement. The guidebook is intended for everyone involved in or inspired by the Fight for $15 and the hope that workers themselves can reshape our province and the world for the better.
