The Council of Canadians Northumberland chapter participated in a recent consultation on the federal budget.
The Council of Canadians joined with more than 25 organizations today in an open letter calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to take immediate action to halt construction of the Site C dam.
The Blue Planet Project joined the Transnational Institute, the Municipal Services Project and other allies last week to submit recommendations for an upcoming report by the UN Special Rapporteur on the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation dealing with the issue of development cooperation.
The Liberal "consultation" on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is raising concerns.
The Council of Canadians is looking to the federal and provincial governments to commit to "a 100% clean economy by 2050" at a first minister's meeting in Vancouver on Thursday March 3.
