Polio is a paralysing and deadly disease that the world is within reach of eradicating for good, but achieving that goal is at risk.
You can change this by adding your name to the petition calling on Canada to show international leadership by pledging an additional $150M towards polio eradication.
Globally there is a $1.5 billion shortfall that needs to be bridged to ensure that polio doesn’t devastate another life. These funds are critical for ensuring that millions of children receive the polio vaccine and helping build health infrastructure that not only keeps polio in check, but improves health systems more broadly.
We can make history by making polio the second disease in human history to be fully eradicated.
But we need your help to call on Canada to contribute new money towards the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
