Did you know that we are 0.1% away from eradicating polio?
Take action: It could make history AND earn you tickets to the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in New York City on September 24.
Right now, Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only two polio-endemic countries that remain in the world and healthcare workers are on the... front lines to ensure that every child receives polio vaccinations.
At the heart of this progress is the Global Polio Eradication Initiative and in order to end polio once and for all, we need to ensure that the funds needed to reach every last child are readily available.
Canada has been a strong leader in the fight against polio and it's crucial that our government continues its support and funding to eradicate polio.
Add your voice to the fight for a polio free world by emailing the Canadian government now, urging them to pledge $150 million to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. You can get the chance to earn tickets to the 2016 Global Citizen Festival.
