One in nine people will go to bed hungry tonight. Sixty percent of people living in hunger are girls and women; the majority of people suffering from food insecurity are unable to provide for themselves.
Now is your chance to build a better world to ensure that — regardless of where someone is born — food is accessible to all.
We know that when people are well-fed they create economic growth, perform better in school, and go on to lead happy and healthy lives, but it will not happen without the collective voices of Global Citizens pressuring word leaders to commit to helping the world's most vulnerable.
