I'm Hangry!

r1 Prime Minister Renzi hasn't responded.

Hey Paov,

One in seven in the world will go hungry tonight. I can't even imagine how we can let that happen.

I hate being stood up.

Over the last few months, we called on the Prime Minister of Italy, Matteo Renzi, the host of next year's G7 Summit to put hunger and nutrition at the top of next year's G7 agenda. The G7 made a promise to lift 500 million people out of hunger.

Global Citizens took action. You tweeted him, petitioned him and called his embassies in... key capitals around the world. I even dumped pasta on my head and invited him to join me at the Global Citizen Festival in NYC. Now we know the Prime Minister heard our calls, but he hasn't responded.

My question is: Prime Minister Renzi, how long do we have to wait? Are you standing me up? Are you standing me up today, of all days, on World Food Day?

We are still waiting for you to declare that next year's G7 in Italy will be a game changer for those who are malnourished or living in hunger.

I am asking Global Citizens to give Prime Minister Renzi one last shot to declare that he will put this on the G7 agenda and rally countries of the world around the goal of ending hunger. Please tweet Prime Minister Renzi asking him to take bold leadership for the world's hungry.

Thanks for doing what you do,

Chelsea Handler and the Global Citizen Team
