Hey Paov,

Today marks a very special day for our planet: World Water Day.

For the past 24 years, countries far and wide have united to celebrate our planet and recognize our human right to safe water and resources for sanitation, like toilets.

On this World Water Day, it’s time to talk toilets, and take action now to end the poo crisis.

This year’s World Water Day theme is wastewater. Did you know that 2.7 billion... people around the world do not have access to underground sewerage systems to clean their toilet water?

Without proper toilet waste treatment systems, water can become contaminated, making simple tasks like washing your hands or drinking water dangerous. It’s so dangerous that children around the world are dying every single day from contaminated water.

Join us now to call on world leaders to prioritize life-saving toilet waste treatment systems.

This is our chance to make sure 11 Heads of Government in the the High-Level Panel for Water prioritize toilet waste disposal so children, families, and communities can survive and thrive.

Thank you for all that you do,
Talia and the Global Citizen Team
