Dear Fair Vote Canada supporters in Victoria,
In the past few days, both the BC NDP and BC Green Party have made platform commitments to electoral reform.
To make sure the candidates know this issue matters to voters, and to raise the profile of these important campaign promises, we are hoping that a question about electoral reform is raised at every all candidates meeting! We are also handing out postcards and flyers encouraging people to vote for parties which support PR.
From a Fair Vote Canada supporter last week:
"Happy to report that I showed up at the ACM, asked a question on proportional representation, got a round of applause from the audience and a resounding positive support from both the NDP & the Green candidates... It was one question they both answered fully & directly. "
Can you help us at a local debate? See the all-candidates meetings below. Some of these we have a volunteer for, but that person could use some company! Others we still need someone to step up.
